Putting the Sparkle back into Christmas crackers.

Fed up with having to buy the same dreary, uninspiring Christmas crackers year after year, with eqaully dreary 'gifts' (!)  inside, Clare Hutchison decided to do something about it. She remembers vividly the beautifully decorated, sparkling Christmas Crackers on her Grandparent's Christmas table when she was a child, and these memories continue to inspire many of her designs today.

Using beautiful handmade papers sourced from suppliers where ethics are a priority, the crackers are made as base first, then decorated with all sorts of jewels, pearls, feathers, birds, butterflies, berries, twigs, glass flowers, lavender, baubles and beads to create a wonderful, sparkling festive feast for the eyes.

Clare works hard at finding gifts that are either gorgeous, fun or innovative - chosen to let you show all your family and friends at your Christmas table how much you care about them.

As a small business we value the world we live in and try to source locally and ethically wherever possible.  Our natural recycled boxes are made in a factory less than 2 miles away where they even process the cardboard. Our costume jewellery, children's gifts and scarves etc come from a supplier just 6 miles away.  We grow our own lavender, roses,  hydrangeas,  bay leaves and catmint for our cat and gardener's crackers here in our orchard meadow - all naturally.

We love what we do, and hope it continues to show in our work.
